Ofer Zeitouni : Slowdown in Branching random walks and the inhomogeneous KPP equation

The classical result of Bramson gives a precise logarithmic correction to the speed of front propagation in one dimensional branching random walks and Brownian motions. I will discuss several variants of this model where the slowdown term is not classical.
